The short version

ProspectOS is designed to keep browser history, workspace state, preferences, notes, and connected-service credentials on your Mac. The website uses Supabase to manage your account, profile, and download history.

Website information

When you request access, Supabase Auth stores your email and browser session. Resend delivers the one-time sign-in code on our behalf. If you update account settings, we store your full name, company, and role. When you select an installer, we record the macOS architecture, release label, and time. Row-level security limits profile and download-history access to the signed-in account that owns each row.

Historical waitlist records remain in a retired Cloudflare D1 database for record retention, but the website no longer adds to or updates those records.

Desktop information

ProspectOS stores browsing and workspace data locally. Connections to services such as Salesforce or Apollo are initiated by you and are governed by those services’ terms. Refresh credentials are encrypted using operating-system facilities where available.

AI requests and shared credits

When you choose to use an AI feature, ProspectOS sends the request through our hosted gateway to the model provider identified in the app, which may be OpenAI, Anthropic, or a Hugging Face Inference Provider. Those providers process the request under their applicable data terms. ProspectOS does not store prompts, page context, tool arguments, or generated content in Supabase or gateway logs.

We retain limited operational and accounting metadata, including organization and user identifiers, selected model, token counts, charged credits, request status, timestamps, pricing version, and provider request identifiers. This supports licensing, shared credit balances, reliability, refunds, and abuse prevention.
